Fore-end Lamb Shank

The ideal cut for the slow cooker and also useful for stock for soup. The fore end shanks weigh approximately 300g and as the name suggests are cut from the shoulder (front end of the lamb). The heavier hind lamb shanks are more meaty and accordingly are more expensive. Cook Low and slow in liquid with root vegetables for best results.
