A great alternative to lamb this Easter. Here in the UK a whole roast turkey generally makes an appearance on the family dining table at Christmas. In the states across the USA a whole roast turkey is also popular at Easter and Thanks Giving.
The turkeys we supply are locally sourced from farms in Lanarkshire and Ayrshire. The meat from these turkeys has a tremendous depth of flavour in comparison to some of the factory farmed turkey found in the supermarket aisles. The turkeys are reared outdoors and are given longer to mature than the standard white turkey. They are also hand plucked and hung for 14 days.
