Thai Crispy Belly Pork (Oven Ready!)


Our butchers start with a whole pork belly before removing all the bones and skin (rind). The belly is diagonally scored and cut into large 300g portions. The portions are marinated for 48 hours in aromatic oriental peppers & spices addition of lemongrass, ginger and chillies.

The Thai Crispy Belly Pork is supplied in a convenient aluminium tray ready for the oven. The ideal choice for a zesty vibrant meal or a late supper time snack. Follow our cooking guidelines below and the tender pork belly falls apart on your fork!

Cooking guidelines for cooking Thai Crispy Belly Pork

  1. Heat the oven to 160c fan/gas 3
  2. Pierce film several times with a fork and place tray aluminium tray provided in the oven and roast at 160C fan/gas 3 and roast for 3 hrs.
  3. (Optional) Remove tray from the oven and cut off film from top of the aluminium tray. Place tray back in the oven and roast for a further 10 minutes @ 220c
  4. Remove from the oven and allow to rest before carving


Our pork is sourced from a farm in Lanarkshire who operates to the highest of welfare standards. We select British Landrace crossed with other native breeds to provide pork with great flavour but without excessive fat.
